There is a group of thought that I really respect. A lot of this has been cultured by a great group of people that teach at the Wizard Academy in Buda, Texas. I owe a lot of the refining of my thoughts and theories to them. They mainly deal with business or business related items but I have found that they are very beneficial to me in just my daily living.
Some of the comments that they have made that really stick with me are the following.
Anything worth doing is worth doing wrong.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.
If you want to be different then everyone else you can’t do it by being normal.
You have to be willing for your dream to die, ignore that it’s dead, and push through anyway.
If you believe it can’t be done, you’re right.
You have to be willing to make a fool out of yourself to do something that has never been done before.
I have seen many people go through this school and do great things. People have turned their businesses around, they have turned their sermons around, they have changed the way they do many things, and now they have completely lost their minds and changed the side of the world they live in.
I may have taken too many of the lessons taught to heart. I was a nuclear engineer working for the Navy. I lived in the tropical paradise of Hawaii. I was offered a 6 figure job by a crane company to run their Hawaii operations. I owned a 3-bedroom condo, an SUV, two motorcycles, and a lot of toys. My life was simple and very enjoyable.
So why in the world am I now living in Iraq, renting a two-bedroom loft above a warehouse, trying to start a distance learning center and vocations training center, while simultaneously building a recycling business? If you want to do what no-one else is doing and something that everyone else says can’t be done……BAM……..right on the `X’………spot marked and banner raised.
So now here I am doing something I have no clue how to do, ready to fail – ignore it – push past it – and succeed when I really should not have.
Just wanted to put that out there.

If I misquoted anyone know that this is just how I hear them in my head, and you can credit me with bonehead of the week…or longer if it seems more accurate.
